My dissertation examines the emergence of influencers and the creator industry during the last decade in Finland. The project uncovers strategies and business models of influencer marketing agencies, seeking to understand the role of influencers and social video platform-enabled companies in the Finnish media landscape and their relationships with incumbent media organizartions.
