CO-TIG – Towards Next-Generation Metal Additive Manufacturing

The CO-TIG project is driving the commercialization path of an innovative manufacturing head for metal additive manufacturing (AM) applications.

This project aims to overcome these barriers by developing a next-generation AM solution, addressing key industry needs such as:

Higher deposition rates to improve productivity and scalability
Improved process stability through adaptive control strategies
Advanced automation to reduce operator dependence and ensure consistent quality.
