Career Councelling at Work

As outcomes the project will produce learning material and a curriculum for a career councellor at work, a handbook for the work place anticipation culture with instructions for a workplace career councellor, and materials for councelling and consulting services to enhance future cooperation between vocational education and working life.

The project “Career councelling at work" seeks to enhance continuous Learning in the structural changes of work. It is a joint project between TSL - Workers’ Educational Association, Tampere university for applied Sciences TAMK and Vocational College Careeria. The aim of the project is to bring the horisontal career councelling as a supporting process for improving skills and competences in workplaces where the structural change is challenging the capacity of skills and competences. Thereby the aim is also to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between vocational education and training and workplaces. The project focuses especially on the service and public sectors. The aim is also to build a process for foreshadowing the skills and competencies needed in the near future in the companies participating in the project.
