The project focuses on promoting the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the South Ostrobothnia region, supporting local businesses and organizations in adopting AI technologies. The region faces challenges such as increasing workforce skill demands and a decline in job availability, making it especially important to modernize the local economy and leverage the opportunities AI offers. The goal of the project is to activate local businesses to develop AI solutions that improve productivity, enable growth, and strengthen the region’s competitiveness.

The project supports the development of AI expertise in the region and assists local businesses in adopting the latest AI research and technologies. Tampere University contributes to the project with its expertise and research-driven approach, helping to better understand the regional impacts of AI. Additionally, Tampere University supports the practical implementation of AI pilots and helps businesses adopt advanced technologies. The goal is to increase the region's attractiveness to new businesses and investments, while creating long-term impacts on the local economy and innovation ecosystem.
