About me
As head of unit I support faculties in implementing research based continuous learning initiatives. I work closely with the BEN, ENS, ITC, and MET faculties. My responsibilities include preparing funding applications for national and international projects. I primarily work on applications for European Social Fund ESF/ESR, Service Centre for Continuous Learning and Employment (JOTPA), Erasmus + and various ministries. In addition, I also prepare proposals for business-oriented training requests.
I lead a highly experienced and innovative team whose mission is to advance the development of continuous learning services and collaborative projects. Our team works in close connection with the same faculty group and is based at the Hervanta campus.
My educational background in brief:
- Doctor of Philosophy, University of Helsinki
- Magister Artium, University of Freiburg, Germany
- Subject Teacher (history and social sciences) University of Helsinki, Department of Teacher Education.
