About me
Dr. Nouman Zia is a visiting researcher at the Optoelectronics Research Center, at Tampere University. He completed his DSc (Tech) from Optoelectronics Research Center, Tampere University, MSc from the University of Eastern Finland, and BSc. from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute, Pakistan. His research area includes III-V Semiconductor (particularly GaSb) gain chips, Silicon Photonics, and III-V/Si integration. During his PhD, Dr. Nouman worked on developing state-of-the-art mid-IR semiconductor gain chips and their integration with Silicon Photonics circuits for hybrid lasers.
