About me

I am a literary scholar specializing in interdisciplinary narrative studies and Finnish literature. A central focus of my research is memory and first-person narration across narrative environments and media.

I completed my doctoral dissertation in 2021 on memory and first-person narrative in the novels of the Finland-Swedish author Bo Carpelan. In the postdoctoral phase, I have worked in Tampere University as a University Lecturer in Finnish literature. Currently, I am part of the research team of the Political Temporalities Consortium (POLTE), where my research examines experiential narratives, memory, and narrative positioning in political big data, including oral history interviews and plenary session records.
