I have a degree in nursing and a doctorate in health sciences. In my current role, I work as a senior researcher at the Finnish Nursing Research Foundation (NRF). I have a title of Docent in Nursing Science (Family Nursing Science) by Tampere University.

Research topics
My research interests focus on older adults and their families at the interface between home and hospital - particularly on discharge, patient education, and care integration. I'm also advancing evidence based nursing.
