Responsibilities

I am responsible for managing and coordinating the operational activities of the NEXUS research infrastructure. My tasks include:

  • Maintaining and developing the infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of procurement, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Developing a multidisciplinary research environment and supporting researchers in the use of research equipment and facilities.
  • Building collaboration among research infrastructures and other organizations.

In addition, I contribute to research projects related to the NEXUS infrastructure at the Tampere Unit for Computer-Human Interaction (TAUCHI).

Fields of expertise

Human-computer interaction, multisensory interfaces, haptics, olfaction, virtual reality.
