Hsiao-Chun Lin

I am a doctoral researcher currently on an exciting adventure exploring the Convergence of Humans and Machines research field with a focus on combining IoT sensors and machine learning to detect emotions and social experiences. 

My work aims to bridge human experience and artificial intelligence, integrating multimodal data from wearables and other IoT sources to model stress, emotion, and social context. The research develops multimodal, time-aware machine-learning models and translates them into personalised feedback loops for stress monitoring and self-management.

By combining my passion for education and technology, I aim to help a broader community gain a better understanding of the multifaceted nature of human emotions.
