Arto Saari (Dr., Helsinki University of Technology, Finland) is a Full Professor of Construction Management at Tampere University, Finland. Arto Saari has 40 years of experience in research and consulting projects with several partners in the real estate and construction industry. Professor Arto Saari's research interests include construction management and sustainable development with a strong focus on project management and Lean management, as well as circular economy and low-carbon construction. His work is published in leading international journals such as Journal of Cleaner Production, Applied Energy, Renewable Energy, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Energy and Buildings, Building and Environment, and Building Research and Information. Professor Arto Saari has supervised 13 doctoral dissertations and about 350 master's theses.
