About me
Associate Professor (Docent) and a Senior Research Fellow in Communications and Computing for Wearable Devices at Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences.
I am currently coordinating the Convergence of Humans and Machines Research Field.
My work is mostly on the applied research side related to various resource constrained distributed systems and networks.
I received a Docent title 2026, hold D.Sc. (Tech) in Telecommunications Egineering from Tampere University of Technology (TUT) in 2018.
Responsibilities
Convergence Coordinator & MSCA Project and Training Manager; supervision of Ph.D. and M.Sc. students; research in the multidisciplinary domain of information systems and wireless communications; dissemination and outreach of the project research results; editorial and TPC work; organization of educational events.
Fields of expertise
Wireless communications; computational offloading; wearables; distributed systems; information security.
