I am a value driver for smart industry and technology competencies.
Currently, I lead, develop and acquire funding for the Smart Industry unit in TAMK.
My interests include safety and security, sustainable development and business renewal, located currently in Tampere.

Responsibilities
As the Head of the Smart Industry competence area, I organize, develop, and support teaching and learning, research, development and innovation in my area. My responsibilities activities, include:
- managing the resources and budget in my competence area
- leading a multicultural team of lecturers (>40 persons)
- developing students' and teams' future competencies
- managing and developing research, development and innovation activities, nationally and internationally (>30 projects)
- developing and implementing education in Smart Industry, also continuous education
- delivering commercial education services
Fields of expertise
In the course of obtaining my M.Sc. in industrial engineering (11/2007) and Ph.D. in innovation management (6/2010), I become adept in:
• customer value marketing and management
• user experience and new business model designs
• service and technology development for commercialization
• competitive strategies and roadmapping in industrial environments
• innovation adoption and foresight in renewable energy contexts
