This accessibility statement applies to the New Applicant’s Desktop developed by the Peppi consortium and used in Tampere University of Applied Sciences in enrollment of open UAS students. The statement has been updated on 23.4.2025.

This accessibility statement is based on evaluation using the QAutoEQUAL accessibility tool. The test tool helps identify potential accessibility deficiencies of the website, but its results may vary depending on the operating environment and testing parameters.
The following accessibility deficiencies have been identified on this website
- Element accessibility properties have been defined for incompatible elements (WCAG 4.1.2) Occurs on some elements, including:
- Search field
- Study information in search results
- Contents of study basket and ‘remove from study basket' button
- Choose method of identification
- Confirmation dialog for skipping identification
- Element marked as decorative is exposed to assistive technologies (WCAG 1.3.1). Occurs on some elements, including:
- Remaining enrollment time counter
- Enrollment cancellation confirmation dialog
- Text vs background contrast is not sufficient (WCAG 1.4.3). Occurs on some elements, including:
- Search button
- Move to study basket button
- Inactive buttons
- There are focusable components in content hidden from assistive technologies (WCAG 4.1.2). Occurs on few elements:
- Close buttons
- Element accessibility properties have invalid values (WCAG 4.1.2).
- Page size selection in search results
- Element does not have required accessibility states and properties (WCAG 4.1.2).
- Fields of personal information form: native and service languages, nationality, country, residence municipality and applicant profile
