What are Tampere Universities?
A strong drive to develop and adopt new ways of working has long been a hallmark of Tampere. This enterprising spirit has also led to the creation of Tampere Universities (TUNI), a higher education community that comprises Tampere University (TAU) and Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) and breaks down the traditional boundaries between disciplines.
While each institution operates independently, we work in close collaboration to combine the strengths of a university and a university of applied sciences.
