
This webinar offers an easy and accessible way to learn about university studies and academic life – even if the topic is completely new to you. The event is especially designed for young people considering higher education and their families or supporters.

12 November 2025, 18:00–19:30 (EET)
Location:
The webinar will be held online. It can accommodate up to 3,000 participants, so we recommend registering in advance. A participation link will be sent to all registered attendees. During the webinar, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions via the chat.

- What is university study like, and how does it differ from upper secondary education?
- Study options and getting to know university life
- How to apply to university
- Student experiences from those whose first language is not Finnish
- Discussion and Q&A – experts will answer your questions
Language:
The webinar will be held in Finnish. Simultaneous interpretation into English will be available.
Recording:
The webinar will be recorded and subtitled in both Finnish and English. The recording will be published on Tampere University’s YouTube channel and can be used, for example, by upper secondary schools in their parent evenings during the 2025–2026 academic year.
