Welcome to ManCE circular economy symposium: Co-creating circular economy! How can we overcome the barriers to circular economy together? And how can we find the best opportunities for cooperation between different actors? ManCE, The Research Centre for Managing Circular Economy, invites circular economy experts from business, research, the public sector and students - everyone who wants to be part of building sustainable future - to the Circular Economy Symposium on Tuesday 26th of November from 12.30 to 16 at Tampere University City Centre Campus!

The program includes an inspiring keynote from Timo Huhtamäki, EU Climate Pact Ambassador and circular economy expert, as well as a diverse panel discussion featuring professionals from various sectors. This symposium offers not only an opportunity to network and hear engaging talks but also to unite our forces, exchange perspectives and bring together expertise and experience from across fields to create solutions that advance the circular economy. Keynote and panel discussion will also be streamed. The symposium is held in English.

Timo Huhtamäki is a European Climate Pact Ambassador, CEO of Emmy Clothing Company and one of the leading experts of the circular economy and green transition in Finland

Join the session to find your next circular economy partner, learn about research cooperation opportunities, or e.g., about summer job opportunities either as an employer or employee

  1. Problem-solving mini workshops to boost circular economy – which problems need solutions, why, how, when, where and by whom?

In case you would like to remove obstacles before circular economy, this is the session for you. Which obstacles are the most critical and why? How should we remove them? Workshops available either in Finnish or English, in accordance with the language preference of the people joining
