Inaugural lectures of new professors at the Faculty of Social Sciences

Warmly welcome to the inaugural lectures of new professors at the Faculty of Social Sciences. The lectures are given in the main auditorium of Päätalo building on the City centre campus. 

Programme:

13.30 – 13.50 Professor Salla Atkins (Public Health, especially global health) - Countering inequalities: Social protection for health 

Unfortunately Professor Marita Husso (Social Policy) is unable to give her inaugural lecture at this time. She will give her lecture in the near future.

13.55 – 14.15 Professor of Practice Juha Kaakinen (Social and Public Policy) - Asunnottomuus ja sivistys  

14.20 – 14.40 Professor Panu Raatikainen (Philosophy) - Hyödytön, hyödyllinen teoreettinen filosofia  

After the event, coffee and sparkling wine will be served in the reception area outside the main auditorium.
