The opening ceremony of the academic year of Tampere University will be celebrated on Monday 5 September! In addition to the celebratory speeches, the program includes the first ever opening festival! The opening festival will be held this year on the Hervanta campus in the courtyard area between and next to the main building and Kampusareena, and next year the celebrations will head to the city central campus!
The program of the opening festival includes, among other things, student associations’ booths, activities, and performances, and in addition, food and drink sales are available for the enjoyment of the party crowd!
So head to the festival on 5 September at 2-4PM and get to know our student culture and organizations!
