ECIU University brings together students, researchers, companies and social actors across organizational boundaries. Last year, EU provided € 5 million in funding over three years to develop ECIU University. The aim is to develop a new university concept based on demand-driven, international and flexible research and education. ECIU University is investing in flexible, interdisciplinary education tailored to the needs of both society and students. ECIU University focuses on UN's Sustainable Development Goals, and students address the real challenges facing society.

1.45pm - 2.45pm Workshop 1: Towards challenge-based education

Workshop addresses new ways of engaging industry, academia and society in resolving both regional and international challenges in a co-creative manner. 

2.45pm - 3.45pm Workshop 2: Micro-credentials and recognition of skills 

Workshop examines new ways to unbundle education by offering more flexible pathways of learning and recognizing open education in order to match emerging societal challenges and developing new skills that are essential for future employment.

We welcome all participants to the workshops! Language of the event is English.
