The theme of ECER 2026 is "Knowing and Acting: The changing conditions and potentials of education research"
The European Conference on Educational Research (ECER) is one of the largest international conferences for education research. ECER is an environment where researchers of different career stages and perspectives gather to present and discuss their research, learn from the research of others, and meet new people. We are expecting around 3000 participants from more than 70 countries to attend the conference in Tampere on 17-21 August 2026.
