The AI-SW-Hackhathon will be held on December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 to 19:00 at the University of Tampere city center campus. The event brings together the sharpest student and developer minds in our region to solve challenges related to artificial intelligence and software design and offers companies the opportunity to be part of this innovation process. This year’s topic is AI & Software in Agriculture!

In AI-SW-Hackhathon, teams of competitors (students) receive tasks or challenges (from companies) for which competitors have a limited amount of time to produce a solution proposal. Each competitor team has 2-3 people. The jury of the competition consists of representatives of companies and the university research team, and it evaluates the work and selects the winning team. The competition teams are assisted by coaches who help and challenge the teams in finding a solution.

Organizations participating in the event: Knobbi Oy, Finnish Food Authority, 1001 Lakes Oy, Business Finland, Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) and Our Data
