The International Conference on Barkhausen noise and Micromagnetic testing (ICBM15) will take place on September 23 – 26 2024 in Tampere (Finland) organized by Tampere University and Stresstech. ICBM15 activities will take place in Museum Centre Vapriikki and Tampere University.
Since 1998, the biennal ICBM conferences cover areas of Barkhausen noise and micromagnetic testing, including the development of Barkhausen noise methods, modeling and simulation, modern trends, material characterization, and applications. The ICBM conferences promote the formation of networks among the international users and ensure further development and better understanding of Barkhausen noise and micromagnetic techniques.
Academics and industries from all over the world are invited to discuss research on Barkhausen noise and industrial applications. Main topics of ICBM15 are:
- Material and surface integrity characterization by Barkhausen noise technique
- Barkhausen noise related numeric and mathematical modeling, and simulation
- Residual stress measurements using Barkhausen Noise Technique
- Modern measurement data analysis
- Industrial applications
