University Instructor, Team Leader; English and Intercultural Communication

About me

I teach English at the City Centre campus, mainly to students of the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences as well as the Faculty of Social Sciences. A basic principle in my teaching is creating an encouraging and supportive learning environment for students, aiming to boost their confidence in interacting in English. In recent years, I have mainly taught Foundations of Professional and Academic Communication in English, Academic Writing, and Working Life Interactions. 

Responsibilities

In addition to teaching duties, I am the Team Leader of the English and Intercultural Communication teaching team. 

Fields of expertise

I have a PhD in English language and literature, and I have co-authored a textbook, Work Matters: English for Working Life (2022).
