Marko Mikkola is a doctoral student in the Doctoral Programme in Social Sciences at Tampere University. His research primarily focuses on the experiences of cybercrime and cyberharassment victimization and the explanatory factors through the lens of social psychology from a criminological perspective.

Fields of expertise

In addition to his academic work, Marko Mikkola also has decades of work experience in cybersecurity and data protection. He advocates for models that foster a human-centric cybersecurity culture within businesses.
