About me
I work as a university instructor in social work.
I am also working on my my doctoral dissertation which aims to understand how 'quality' is defined and supervised in children's residential care. The main interest is on the (possible) tension between the 'legal ideal' and everyday life in residential homes, as well as on the issues between the professional principles and values, organizational instructions, the experiences, wishes and opinions of children and their parents, and the general understanding what for example ‘good childhood’ means.
