Data protection and encryption

You are responsible for storing all data with an adequate level of security. First, classify all the data you need to store in accordance with the data classification guidelines. Based on that classification and the instructions in this section, you can then plan sufficiently secure ways to store and share files. Encrypting files with a separate application is often necessary to protect the data.
