Professor of Public Health and Epidemiology (part-time employment) at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Tampere University, since 2007. The title was in 2012 changed to Professor of Epidemiology. 

Director for Research of the Finnish Cancer Registry, Institute for Statistical and Epidemiological Cancer Research, Helsinki. Employed since 1975, retired in February 2019. Since March 2019 contract as part-time research expert. 

 

Responsibilities

Coordination of and participation in reasearch projects. Guiding doctoral students.
