About me
Cæcilie is a PhD researcher in Peace and Conflict Research at Tampere Peace Research Institute (TAPRI). She holds a master's degree in Peace, Mediation and Conflict Research from Tampere University and completed her BA in Peace and Conflict Studies at Malmö University prior to studying in Finland.
Fields of expertise
Cæcilie's research focuses on the links between diasporas, peace and conflict. She wrote her MA thesis on online conflict transportation among Kurdish and Turkish diasporas in Denmark and in her PhD she is exploring everyday peace and conflict focusing on Somali communities in Denmark and Finland.
