Content: During the course, the foundations, aims, and key concepts of multicultural and intercultural education will be explored. In addition, studies concerning multicultural study and work environments will be presented, discussed, and compared.
Working methods: Lectures, group assignments and discussions 20 h, independent work 115 h
Min-max number of students: 10-25
Five courses in basic studies in education can be taken as book exams. In the beginning of autumn period and spring period the Faculty of Education is organizing an introductory meeting for international students.
Accomplishment of Basics Studies 1-5 will be explained in detail in the introductory meeting on Monday, 18.9.2017 (enrollment for participation by Thursday, 14.9.2017).
