Learning outcomes

After completing the course, students will be able to identify the main developments and research areas in technical communication. Students will be able to describe the technical communication professional and corporate field and its ethical principles. Students are familiar with general documentation process models and the principles of project management. Students can list the key factors of usability and different usability engineering methods.

Overview of technical communication as a profession and a discipline, documentation process models, project management, and usability and its application to technical communication.
