Governance for Sustainable Change, At least 120 cr

Objectives

Upon successful completion of the program, students acquire knowledge and skills needed to contextualise global issues of sustainability, utilise theoretical knowledge, models and approaches in public administration and management to address wicked problems facing society today. Students are familiar with current paradigms, themes and cross cutting issues in public administration reforms and research. Students learn and are able to apply the most important knowledge-based theories and models of economic development of cities and regions. Students understand and are able to analyse complex public private partnerships and the hybrid logics in public service systems. Students acquire critical thinking and communications skills and can carry out independent scientific inquiry utilising relevant theories and methods within the field of public administration and management. Additionally, the free choice study module offers students a chance to develop and diversify their knowledge acquired in the advanced studies of LFC.
