Proficiency Evaluation Test for Optional Studies (English Language), Exam (Second Subject Students)

NB! For exchange students a separate proficiency evaluation test will be organized.

Minor subject students for the English Language specialization are selected based on a proficiency evaluation test.

A maximum of 25 minor students are selected based on the test. This test is only intended for TAU degree students. If you are an exchange student, please see Welcome week -web page for information on the exchange student proficiency exam.

A student can be exempted from the optional studies proficiency evaluation test on one of two grounds:

1. They have scored higher than the lowest scoring admitted candidate in the latest English degree programme entrance exam. 2. They have completed English basic studies in another Finnish university.

To get an exemption marked, contact the degree programme Education Specialist, preferably before the proficiency exam.
