Political Problems in Changing Contexts, 5 cr

This course examines politics and the political in the Anthropocene. After introducing the Anthropocene, the course progresses by examining such central themes in the political sciences as power, responsibility, and justice. With each theme, the course revises traditional approaches and introduces how the Anthropocene might encourage us to re-think them in a novel way. The latter part of the course ponders, whether politics itself needs to be re-thought.
