Opintojaksolla perehdytään keskeisiin persoonallisuusteorioihin. Opintojakson keskeisimpänä sisältönä on tarkastella persoonallisuuden eri käsitteitä ja ilmiöitä kolmitasoisen mallin kautta, jossa ensimmäisen tasoon sijoittuvat yksilön taipumukselliset piirteet, toiseen tyypilliset sopeutumistavat ja kolmanteen tarinamuotoinen identiteetti.
