- Termodynamiikan 1. pääsääntö suljetulle ja avoimelle systeemille.
- Ideaalikaasun tilanyhtälö.
- Kiertoprosessit: Carnot, Rankine, Otto, Diesel.
- Ideaalikaasuseokset, erityisesti kostea ilma.
- Sisä- ja ulkopuolisten virtausten perusteet.
- Erilaisten lämmönsiirtomuotojen (johtuminen, konvektio, säteily) perusteet.
