- Introduction of Systems RAMS Engineering Application and Management.
- Modeling and analysis of Systems failure cause-consequence logic.
- Specification and Allocation of Systems RAMS Design Requirements.
- Methods for seeking out and selecting Systems design solutions from RAMS point of view.
- Application of RAMS design review to Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) in system-service design and development process.
Complementary knowledge
- RAMS terminology. Concept of RAMS engineering process integrated in system design and realization, and technical management processes. (A system is a combination of interacting or interdependent elements organized to accomplish one or more stated functions. Respectively a system element is a discrete part of a system that can be implemented to fulfil specified requirements.)
- Event Logic Modelling and Analysis methods. Failure and operation structure. Deterministic and Probabilistic approach.
- Stakeholders Expectations and Requirements Definition.
- Simulation and calculation of reliability performance and maintenance costs. Application of expert judgement in RAMS data assessemt.
- Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) and Probabilistic Availability Assessment (PAA) and life cycle cost calculatiion.
