- Geotekniikan merkitys yhdyskuntien maankäytön suunnittelussa. Kuntien geotekniset tehtävät. Pohjatutkimusaineiston tallentaminen ja hyväksikäyttö. Esirakentaminen.
- Maa- ja louhospenkereiden perustaminen ja pohjanvahvistus sekä luiskien tuenta- ja vahvisterakenteet.
- Putkijohtojen perustaminen ja putkijohtokaivannot.
- Maa- ja jätepadot sekä tulvasuojelurakenteet.
- Liikennetärinän haittavaikutukset ja niiden estäminen.
