In the course, the professional identity of early childhood education and care teacher as well as multi-professional interaction and cooperation are studied. The functions of educational organizations are examined especially from the points of view of cooperation between professionals, relations with families, objectives´ of early childhood education and care and child's wellbeing and learning. In the course, the formation of professional interaction is studied and the professional expertise required in cross-sectoral work communities is developed. Furthermore, the child's individual early childhood education and care plan, its planning and the participation of families in developing ECEC are studied.
