The course presents a generic systematic literature review process that can be applied to both quantitative and qualitative studies.

The course focuses on the different stages of a systematic literature review:

1. Planning the review: scoping searches, review questions and review protocol.

2. Conducting the review: literature search, analysing the results, including quality assessment, and synthesising the results (narrative vs. quantitative).

3. Reporting the results.

The two-day course consists of a pre-course assignment, lectures and practical exercises during the course (pair/group work).
