The course presents a generic systematic literature review process that can be applied to both quantitative and qualitative studies.
The course focuses on the different stages of a systematic literature review:
1. Planning the review: scoping searches, review questions and review protocol.
2. Conducting the review: literature search, analysing the results, including quality assessment, and synthesising the results (narrative vs. quantitative).
3. Reporting the results.
The two-day course consists of a pre-course assignment, lectures and practical exercises during the course (pair/group work).
