Lecture series focuses on the history of warfare in Imperial Russia during the 19th century, with primary emphasis on social and cultural effects of war experience in a multi-national empire. The series will take place with the programs of History and Russian studies. The course has been funded by the network of Russian and East European Studies (VIE/REES), coordinated by Aleksanteri Institute at the University of Helsinki
