The central topic of the course are the perspectives of culturally sensitive pedagogy and multicultural education, different kinds of opportunity gaps and ways of narrowing them, the intersectionality of identities, practices of supporting identity development of diverse learners, and supporting learning through linguisticually and culturally responsive education.
