Experience, interpretation and analysis, 5 cr

During the study unit, cultural and media materials (e.g., narratives, performances, texts, and games) are analyzed through a number of theoretical perspectives. The materials and their meanings are identified in relation to the paradigms and histories of theoretical viewpoints and, for example, to the questions of representation, identity, presence, and multimodality. At the same time, the interrelations of the production, use, and interpretation of cultural artefacts are examined in historical, current and future contexts.
