Common learning outcomes
International outlook and global responsibility
The student will explore the central word-, sentence-, paragraph-, argument-, and text-level characteristics of English-language academic writing and complete related exercises. In addition, the student will be able to apply the skills they have learnt to their independent writing projects. The student will consider different perspectives, develop their own thinking and formulate scientific arguments, produce draft texts, read the texts of other students, edit their own texts, and write an academic essay as the final project of the course unit.
