Pedagogy and the Curriculum in Early Childhood Education and Preprimary Education, 5 cr

The course examines the historical and theoretical starting points and basic concepts of early childhood pedagogy, including the different levels of the curricula and pedagogical approaches. The student becomes familiar with the curricula and learns to develop, implement and assess pedagogical plans. The student builds his/her professional identity as early childhood education and care and preprimary education pedagogue.
