Pedagogy of Early Childhood Education and Care/Learning at Work I, 5 cr

The student develops a general understanding of early childhood pedagogy and preprimary education. The student is acquainted with pedagogical and guidance approaches and the planning of pedagogy and guidance of children in preprimary and primary education. The student acts according to the ethical responsibilities of early childhood education and care teachers, and reflects on his/her own practices. The learning process of the student is guided by a tutor at the university and a mentor in preprimary education. The student reflects on his/her own practices and develops a professional identity in terms of theory and research.
