School of Education

The School of Education in the University of Tampere is a research and learning community which explores and analyses changes in education and society, and participates in building the idea of learning society in national and global scale by offering degree programmes for prospective educational professionals with top-quality societal and cultural expertise.

The School of Education promotes research which contributes to the basic understanding of conditions and possibilities of education in a time of global change. The School provides research-based basic and postgraduate education as well as continuing education.

During the spring semester 2011, the curriculum and teaching schedule of the School of Education will follow those of the Faculty of Education and the Department of Speech Communication and Voice Research:
