Five courses in basic studies in education can be taken as book exams. In the beginning of autumn period and spring period the School of Education is organizing preparation groups for international students. As a teacher in these groups will be our university teacher Pauliina Alenius. In these groups students can get support and instructions for reading the material.

Content: The course focuses on different dimensions and themes of global education related to global citizenship, social justice, cultural diversity, human rights and sustainable development. During the course, these themes will be presented and discussed in lectures and workshops. In addition, the students will plan lessons related to global education.

Modes of Study: Lectures, group presentations and written assignments.

Enrolment in NettiOpsu for the course.

This study module is available for all students (TaY, TTY, TAMK). Max 25 students.

The study module is also available as a part of the Multicultural Study Programme in Education, with the code KASMULTI4 Optional course: Global Education
