Most course units/modules in the curricula of the Degree Programme in Politics can be completed also by independent study (book exams or essay assignments). Please see the curricula guide and contact the teachers for information on module contents, set books and general requirements.
All book exams in Politics are to be taken using the electronic exam service Tenttis. In case a course unit/module is not readily available in English in Tenttis, please contact the examiner to request them to upload exam questions in English, and also to agree on alternative set books if necessary.
If you wish to complete a course unit/module with an essay assignment instead, please contact the teacher in charge of the course unit/module to agree on the topic and requirements (N.B. the examiner and teacher in charge may not always be the same person).
