After completing the course unit, the students will be familiar with the tradition of Western political thought and its key theorists. Moreover, the students will be acquainted with modern political theory and its different kind of approaches, such as libertarianism, communitarianism, republicanism, feminism, and deliberative democracy. The students will have comprehensive knowledge of the development of political theories and their role in modern political research. The students are able to apply theories and approaches of Political Science to the analysis of practical political phenomena.
